Top car brand, Volkswagen(VW) has left many on the edges of their seats as it recently announced that the new Taos will soon be hitting South African shores. This marks four years since VW launched its 5th new SUV.

During these past four years, Volkswagen underwent a slight brand direction, regarding an SUV that was in development. It had to fit the new objectives regarding innovation and affordability.

The new Taos is the smallest SUV that Volkswagen has produced in a while and it has been closely compared to the Tiguan. Many car enthusiasts are eager to observe the general presence of the Taos, hence it comes after the successful run of the Tiguan, which was launched in the Year 2007 and it enjoyed tremendous success making it VW’s best selling car to date.

The Taos comes with bucket loads of advantages, such as world class technology, including digital dashboard, the latest infotainment system and many others.

Volkswagen is yet to release the pricing but the new Taos will certainly launch in the year 2021 as a 2022 model though.
