1. DJ Sbu was born on 28 May 1977.
2. His real name is Sibusiso Leope.
3. He is a South African Kwaito musician, entrepreneur, record label owner, TV presenter and club and radio jock.
4. He studied sound engineering at African Media University and also studied electrical engineering at Technikon Witwatersrand.
5. He was the co-owner of TS Records which was shut down in 2017.
6. He is believed to be in a relationship with a University of Johannesburg student, Boitumelo Mahlase.
