The #OLXHoneYourHustle competition is divided into two phases being Part 1 (Side Hustlers) and Part 2 (Game Players). It is important to note that the entry criteria, rules and prizes for each of the phases are different to each other. Please carefully read through the below terms and conditions which explain the respective phases of this promotional competition. By entering this competition, you as the contestant agree to be bound by the below terms:
No entry fees:
There are no entry fees to participate in the competition, and no charges imposed by OLX involved in posting your comment, which may include photos and/or videos, and sharing it with your friends via Facebook.
Who can enter:
You are entitled to participate in this competition if you are a natural person who is a South African resident and at least 18 years old with a valid South African ID document. You may NOT participate if you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition, or if you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to OLX or any other entity directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by OLX, or if you are any of the aforementioned persons’ spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner.

Determination of winner:
The Top 20 Side Hustlers will be selected on 25th September and featured on the web page from 1 October: https://hello.olx.co.za/honeyourhustle
Entries will be moderated and judged according to the following entry criteria:
- Whether the entry instructions have been followed
- Your sales pitch on how #OLXHoneyourHustle has impacted your business
- The product/service you sell
- Your story about what makes you the ultimate side hustler, your entrepreneurial journey and why you deserve to win
One winner will be selected from the Top 20 featured Side Hustlers to win the Grand Prize on 31st October at 4pm (GMT +2).
The Grand Prize winner will be selected based on the following:
- The Winner will have the highest total votes on its profile at the time of selection.
The Grand Prize will include the following:
- R10,000 in cash,
- a Red & Yellow digital marketing course valued at R16,500
- and R5,000 in OLX ad spend
Announcement of winner:
No entries will be accepted after the conclusion of Phase 1 on 25 September 2020. The winner will be announced at 4pm (GMT+2) on the closing date (being 31 October 2020). We will notify the winner via email, SMS or phone call. We will attempt to contact the winner at least 3 times, but if we are unable to contact the winner, the winner will forfeit the prize and we reserve the right to allocate the prize to another contestant.
Verification of winner:
We may require the winner to provide us with information as we may reasonably require in order to verify the winner’s identity and compliance with these terms, and to process and/or facilitate the winner’s acceptance and/or use of the prize (including a valid ID document etc.). We reserve the right to refuse handing over the prize to a potential winner who refuses to or cannot provide sufficient documentation to verify its identity. Should the winner fail to accept delivery of the prize, the winner will forfeit the prize and we reserve the right to award the prize to another eligible contestant. You may not win the prize if it is unlawful to give such prize to you and if you do win the prize under such circumstances, you agree to forfeit it. The winner may be asked to participate in marketing activities, including by having a photograph taken, but the winner will be entitled to decline to do so.
