Popular social media App, WhatsApp, is constantly on the look out for new trends, especially features that will continue positioning the brand in a league of its own.

Recently, it was announced that a new exciting feature is in development stages at WhatsApp headquarters – whereby the user can send a photo or video that will disappear after it was viewed once, by the recipient. The official unveiling date, has not been communicated to the public, hence the this new feature on WhatsApp, is still being developed.

Reportedly, this new feature is likely to be called, ‘View Once’, according to WABetalnfo – which is responsible for tracking the developments of WhatsApp functions.

Additionally, the WhatsApp innovation team is passionately working on overdrive, hence another feature is likely in the works as well. The application of a finger security feature is likely to materialise in the nearing future.
