Lenoma Legal’s Vision Of Making Legal Services Affordable

Lenoma Legal’s Vision Of Making Legal Services Affordable. Getting quality professional legal advice is very costly especially if a company is a small business where cutting costs is what the business needs in order for it to be sustainable. With no legal representation a business can be compromised n that it has no one that will represent it and fight for its interest. This would make the business not function property as it won’t be able to negotiate contracts with clients or even defend itself if it is being sued.

Lenoma Legal is a legal tech company which specializes in commercial and labour matters for small to medium businesses. It was founded in 2016 by Leah Molatseli who is the senior partner as well as the CEO. She believes that the law still has gatekeepers that deny entry not only into the legal profession but also for the people to get access to it and one of these gatekeepers is the cost of legal services.

It is currently operational in South Africa and Lesotho. This legal company is not like the other ones in that it also offers legal services virtually through their website and social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp. It believes that access to justice is a fundamental human right that should be afforded to all. This is why the company has a vision of building a legal practice that does not only accessible but affordable too.

Lenoma Legal’s goal of seeing small business accessing legal services with ease is also highlighted through its website where small business owners can gain access to legal documents for free. “If you are incorporating technology into it, be different and think of different ways to change law space in terms of how you do it.” said Molatseli in an interview with My Black Owned Products.

According to the company website Molatseli won 90% of law cases from 2013 to present. The company was also named in the Top 10 Seedstars Tech Startups in South Africa currently being accelerated by the Hague Institute For Innovation in Law.
