‘Cridde’ new car rental app is ready to disrupt the car rental industry

Cridde is set to disrupt car rental when it officially launches in late Feb of 2021. Cridde is an app-based car-sharing platform that allows peers to rent cars from private car owners. Those who need a car for daily or monthly usage will be able to rent a vehicle instantly through the Cridde Android or IOS app.

Cridde, a division of Cityride car rental based in Johannesburg has embarked on introducing South Africa to the future of car rental.  An affordable and convenient way to rent a car near you, with hundreds of vehicles to choose from, no paperwork, lowest rental rates, low deposit, and instant booking options.

“This is a better option compared to the traditional rental companies,” Says Co-Founder Ahmed Olabode

The app allows users to have the convenience of once-off document upload, verification, and renting a car instantly thus making the car rental process paperless and easy to use. You are able to search for vehicles by City, Review the listings, and book the vehicle of your choice.

Covid-19 has changed the way everyone does business, regardless of industry and Cridde offers a solution through its proprietary technology Cridde Connect, a feature that enables renters to book a car, locate and unlock without meeting the owner, offering a 100% contact-free, no-hassle car pick up and drop off.

Car owners in Johannesburg & Capetown looking for a way to reduce the financial burden of car ownership can now earn money by listing and sharing cars on the Cridde app. This can be done easily by creating a profile, adding photos, describing your car, and setting your price & deposit.

Co-Founder Ahmed Olabode says: “At Cridde we strive to build a secured car rental community by ensuring that all renters and vehicle owners are approved and verified before they go live on our platform”

The days of conventional car hire are slowly coming to an end and Cridde is certainly taking the world into the future.
