Dear Bella Aims To Provide Sanitary Pads To Underprivileged Girls

Dear Bella Aims To Provide Sanitary Pads To Underprivileged Girls. There are many young girls who are unable to access sanitary pads when they need them as they are too expensive for them to buy. With South Africa having child headed households, it is difficult for these children to find money to buy their essential toiletries as they have to buy food that will be enough for everyone. With no financial support from anywhere young girls find themselves using rags, socks and t-shirts during their menstruation period. This affects their confidence and ability to perform well in school as they are not comfortable.

Dear Bella’s Maxi Pads are made from wood fluff pulp which is safe and great for absorption. These pads are individually wrapped in a pack, with a no noise material for easy handling and absolute privacy. Since the company is dedicated to making pads accessible to young girls, they have made them to be affordable without compromising on their quality to also provide comfortability.

The company’s goal and mission is to provide access to affordable sanitary pads and to empower girls to become active and productive citizens. It was founded by Matefo Mabel Morakeng in 2018. The company has managed to partner with organizations such as Home of Hope, Sisanda, EduHope Africa, Ebony+Ivory and Ignited Woman to help them in carrying out their vision of uplifting and motivating young women.

There are a lot of girls in the communities we live in that require assistance with accessing sanitary pads. The company has a deal for people who would like to join and be part of a social programme that aims to uplift. If you would like to assist you can sponsor from as little as R99 per month, to cover sanitary pads for 7 girls for 12 months, for bulk orders the company can be contacted on 079 945 7067 or emailed on [email protected]
