Syntell runs an active Foundation that was founded in 2005 which focuses on empowerment and capacity building for long term sustainable communities. The foundation has supported projects such as the Khayelitsha block making project, which aims to equip 15 unemployed women with the means to start their own businesses; the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s Demilitarisation Programme, which provides ex-combatants with life skills and qualifications; a beadwork income generation project for women living with HIV/AIDS and Donations to the ETMC for hosting the World Driver Championship at Sun City. The company has its main offices in Cape Town and Midrand, with other operations to be found in Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein.
