Afrotainment is a multi award winning record label established in 2007 by Mthokozi Khathi, better known as “Dj Tira” whom solely placed Durban on the global map, and by so doing, helping the city live up to its “Durban is South Africa’s Playground” tagline. Dj Tira & Sox formed Durban’s Finest in 2004 and little did they know they were going to change the music industry forever, together they released a series self-titled compilations; dubbed “Durban’s Finest”; Vol. 1, 2 & 3” which played a pivotal role in positioning the city of Durban as a tourist destination and entertainment hub as they utilised their lyricism as a tool to market the city of Durban through the arts.

DJ Tira is diversifying his portfolio. The music producer took to social media to share that he is opening a chicken fast-food joint and wanted some help coming up with a catchy slogan for the place.
