DJ Maphorisa Opens A New Shisanyama Called Under The Bridge! DJ Maphorisa took to Instagram to announce that he will be launching his own Shisanyama called Under The Bridge in Midrand. The establishment does not only consist of a Shisanyama but it also has a car wash business.
To launch the business, DJ Maphorisa hosted an event at the venue on the 16th of May 2021, which featured performances from top South Africa artists such as Tyler ICU, DJ Crazy and Sha Sha. The establishment seeks to give is customers an experience that they will never forget. A Shisanyama is popularly known as a place where people can hang out and enjoy a braai, drinks and music.
This Shisanyama is no different as the DJ already started off by hosting a party that had high profile South African artists. This is a great marketing tool for the business as people would want to go see their favourite artist perform and then they would be compelled to visit the Shisanyama.
Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe popularly known by his stage name DJ Maphorisa is a South African record producer, DJ and vocalist. As a record producer with a blend of house music and afropop, he has worked with and has received production credits from several notable artists, including Wizkid, Kwesta, Uhuru, Drake, Black Coffee, Major Lazer, Runtown, C4 Pedro, Kabza De Small and Era Istrefi, among others.
