France Based Organisation Bond’innov Opens Applications For Support Programme For African Entrepreneurs. Bond’innov, a France-based association that supports innovative and responsible entrepreneurship in Africa, has opened applications for a support programme that offers start-ups a soft-landing for European expansion.

The Bees soft-landing programme powered by EiA aims to select 10 African entrepreneurs to accompany them in the development of their business in Europe. A three-month soft-landing programme, it is part of the Enrich in Africa project, initiated and financed by the European Commission and bringing together a consortium of 12 African and European organisations including Impact Hub, Methys Group, Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) and Startupbootcamp AfriTech.

According to Disrupt Africa, the objective is to reconnect the entrepreneurial ecosystems of Africa and Europe, which the programme will do by providing training, help in building partnerships with European institutions, access to co-working space, support in obtaining a Schengen visa, and the chance to meet potential investors.

Funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme and coordinated by Steinbeis 2i in Germany, Enrich in Africa works with key partners and advisors from the innovation landscape of Europe and Africa. Together they address the needs for capacity development of incubators, accelerators, and entrepreneurs in both regions.

Bond’innov is a structure that supports responsible entrepreneurship with impact in connection with emerging territories, particularly active in promoting innovation in Africa and Europe. Bond’innov finances innovative and not yet fundable start-ups in France and Africa via free and inclusive financial tools. These development tools are dedicated to start-ups that develop value and employment. In France with the “International et Sud” fund that is dedicated to Bond’innov start-ups and in Africa, thanks to the Afric’innov fund dedicated to African start-ups and operated via the following incubators: Incub’innov (France and Africa/multi-country), La Fabrique (Burkina-Faso), CTIC (Senegal), Etrilabs (Benin), Saboutech (Guinea).

With a societal impact in Africa through AFIDBA’s hybrid funds dedicated to Inclusive Business the Incub’innov incubator is a true catalyst of ambition. It welcomes and accompanies innovative projects, mainly related to Africa and the ecological transition, and helps them secure their business plan before scaling.
