Suki Suki Naturals Seeks To Create Natural Hair Care Products For Vulnerable African Hair

Suki Suki Naturals Seeks To Create Hair Care Products For Vulnerable African Hair. Suki Suki Naturals’ mission is to create natural products that nurture, soothe and heal skin and hair with harm-free ingredients from Mother Nature’s pantry. The company is passionate about the quality of its ingredients, and focus on unique and relatively undiscovered African specialties like Prickly Pear, and under-utilised natural remedies like Papaya and Mango. Its uniquely formulated and handcrafted recipes celebrate Africa’s rich and diverse plant life while keeping its clients free from harmful and artificial chemicals.

As Africans themselves, the company knows the effects of the sometimes harsh air and light on most vulnerable parts – and have specially developed products for those living under the harsh African sun. The company believes that one’s skin and hair be treated with love and the most luxurious ingredients available. The company promises that its products are free from mineral oil, preservatives, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde, petroleum, paraffin and animal testing.

The company’s overriding passion is in sourcing powerful natural ingredients and pairing them with natural oils using unique highly researched formulations and rare raw materials – and it never includes harmful chemicals. It ensures its customer benefits from the best that mother nature has to offer without all the harmful extras. Its products are proudly crafted in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa.

The brand’s founder is Linda Gieskes-Mwamba; the trigger for Suki Suki Naturals was in 2010, when Linda – then studying law — wanted to grow her treated hair out into an afro. All the hair products available were either full of chemicals, or were ridiculously expensive — or both. She couldn’t afford to have natural hair! Linda, then started playing with butters and oils to soften her locks, and decided to treat her hair herself, using her knowledge of natural ingredients. This lead to the development of the Miraculous Oil Suki Suki’s first and still most popular product.
