Well Maid is a diversified business support services company, focused in 3 main areas; events management and catering, placement and cleaning as well as skills based culinary arts training. It started as a domestic placement agency in 2013 by founder Nthabiseng Teffo who owns 100% of the BB-BEE company.
Well Maid’s mission is to be a one stop shop integrated hospitality and business support service provider offering reliable and affordable services, customised to corporate and individual client requirements whilst providing employment to youth, women and previously disadvantaged individuals. Well Maid’s goal is to become a dominant player in the hospitality and business support services sectors; servicing both corporate, public sector and individual clients in their 3 focus areas; events management, decor and catering, placement and cleaning as well as training.
Well Maid leadership is made up of two partners with extensive industry experience gained in the corporate world that allows them to understand the needs of its major corporate and individual client base. Nthabiseng Teffo, the CEO has over 15 years’ experience in the corporate world and she gained experience in the catering field through Well Maid and her Culinary Arts which is accredited by City & Guilds. Itumeleng Teffo is the Chief Operations Officer at Well Maid. Itumeleng has over 12 years of experience in the corporate space.
Nthabiseng saw a gap in the market for a small diversified black owned business support services company in an industry dominated by either big conglomerates or informal players who concentrated on just one service offering. The company’s initial aim was to create affordable domestic and cleaning services that included domestic helpers, housekeepers, nannies, caregivers and cleaners on a full or part time basis. Over the last six years Well Maid has evolved to include the following business divisions, offering complementary services; events management & catering, placement and cleaning and skills-based culinary arts training and it continues to grow.
