Fashion Entrepreneur Megan Du Toit Shares How Being Consistent Is Essential In Building A Business. Building a business requires one to remain disciplined and consistent so that they can achieve the goals that they have set for the business. This gives the business a significant impact on its growth as it is being worked on at a consistent rate.

However, being consistent in running a business effectively everyday is impossible when one is just starting out the business and has not developed structures that will allow the business to function automatically. More often entrepreneurs find themselves exhausted and need to rest so that they can be more productive. This does not mean that the entrepreneur is not consistent. In an interview with Dlala Kreative Fashion entrepreneur and founder of House Of Lombard, Megan Du Toit shared how important it is for one to remain consistent in their business, she believes that people can take breaks but they should always get back to their business so that it can keep running smoothly.

She said, “… but with staying consistent, it’s really getting into a routine, I think if you can start your morning by making your bed, going for a walk, go for coffee or go to gym. If you could have just three things that you do every single morning even if they’re not even related to your business, it starts that routine. Then you slowly start to build on those things, checking your emails, then going to your Instagram DMs, and then starting to cut things out in whatever the process your business is. So I just think it’s important to start with a small foundation of consistent things and you’ll slowly start every morning knowing what you need to do.”

Du Toit shows that being consistent is not something that is easy to do hence she feels like entrepreneurs should start by being consistent in small tasks as this will set them up to being used to being consistent and therefore they will also be consistent will the big tasks in their business.
