Forex Trader Millionaire Sandile Shezi Arrested For Fraud. South African Forex Trader and entrepreneur Sandile Shezi has been arrested on the charges of fraud. He is alleged to have defrauded his business partner at his Global Forex Institute company.
It was reported that he handed himself over to the police after a warrant of arrest was issued out against him. According to Times Live, Gauteng police spokesperson Capt Mavela Masondo said Shezi, who has been charged with fraud, handed himself over in the presence of his lawyers on Wednesday. “I can confirm that he has been arrested. He will appear in Randburg magistrate’s court tomorrow [Thursday] on charges of fraud.”
Sandile Shezi is an avid Forex Trader who became South Africa’s youngest millionaire at the age of 23. Forex trading is a way one can make money and earn a living, however the market is very volatile and one can lose a lot of money if they do not understand how to and when to trade. Shezi found success in forex trading at a young age and therefore founded his trading company called Global Forex Institute. It is alleged that Shezi defrauded his business partner out of R500 000. According to Times Live, Shezi denied any wrong doing in an interview with Sunday Times.
His company Global Forex Institute is known as a forex trading training institute, which trains people to set up their own trading platforms. Shezi is from the streets of Umlazi, a township situated in the South of Durban. Shezi and his long time mentor George Van der Riet, being a trade master with trading experience in excess of 15 years, partnered up to start Global Forex Institute with the goal of creating financial freedom and to address the high levels of unemployment in South Africa.
