House OF BNG Announced Once Again As Miss SA Celebration Partner
House OF BNG Announced Once Again As Miss SA Celebration Partner. Bonang Matheba’s House Of BNG, a luxury beverage brand has once again been announced as the official celebration partner of Miss SA 2021. The brand was first named the celebration partner of the beauty competition in 2020 and now the deal has carried over to this year’s competition.
House Of BNG is a luxury beverage brand that was founded by South African media personality Bonang Matheba in 2019. Described as Bonang’s “loveletter to Africa”, the brand became the country’s favoured celebration partner from the Presidential Inauguration to Miss SA and, in the process, Matheba also became the first black woman to become a member of the Cap Classique Producers Association.
This beverage brand has seen a lot of success since it was launched in 2019; it has managed to partner with big organisations and events. It has also managed to get its products in large retail liquor stores such as Woolworth, Makro and Tops at Spar. The partnership between House Of BNG and Miss SA has proven to be lucrative for both parties as they have renewed it for another year.
Partnerships such as this set the alcoholic beverage apart from its competitors as it will gain massive marketing and advertising to millions of people who tune in to watch the Miss SA competition. There aren’t many black female owned alcoholic brands that are partnering with large organisations the way House Of BNG is, this will make it set a precedent for other upcoming brands that to grow beyond the small business stage, a brand needs to form strategic partnerships that will allow it to grow and attract more customers or partnerships.
The House of BNG continues to innovate the category and its unstoppable ascent in the South African luxury beverage market following the release of the Nectar range, one of the first African brands to produce a true sparkling wine in a can.
