Rapper Youngsta CPT’s YGen Apparel Set To Release New Sneakers. South African Rap artist Youngsta CPT took to Twitter to announce the Sneaker collaboration between his YGen Apparel brand and Street Fever ZA. The rapper also released a song titled ‘New Takkies’.

YGen Apparel is a clothing brand that was established by Youngsta CPT, he made sure that he fulfils his entrepreneurial aspirations as he has been able to stay independent as a recording artist and he also owns his own clothing label as well as a shop. The rapper also has brand endorsement deals with several notable brands. Youngsta CPT has used his fame to build an empire that will be able to sustain himself whether his music is selling or not. He made sure to build something outside of music so that he doesn’t only rely on one income as this can cause a lot of financial strain.
YGen Apparel collaboration with Street Fever ZA which originated from humble beginnings; it is a family-owned business with roots entrenched deep in their heritage. The sneaker culture itself was created in 1989 with the opening of an outlet called Bronx, one of the first sneaker stores in Cape Town.
