Fashion Designer Paledi Segapo Details How He Started His Palse Clothing Brand

Fashion Designer Paledi Segapo Details How He Started His Palse Clothing Brand. South African fashion designer and entrepreneur Paledi Segapo detailed how he started his clothing label called Palse. The designer shared this in an interview with The Insider SA.

He said, “… that’s when I felt like you know what? I need to follow my passion, cause when I was growing up my mom was all about you cannot be an artist you need a proper qualification but now what mama says I’m done, I need to do me, and I need to find a level of job satisfaction and that’s when after all those milestones I decided to start my own fashion label called Palse.”

Segapo highlights the importance of following one’s passion as this leads to being fulfilled as one would know that they are doing something they love. Taking a risk and believing in a dream that may not become a reality is something that most people do not want to do, they would rather do something that they are not passionate about if it provides security and some sort of income.

This is why entrepreneurs take huge risks in the beginning stages of their business and sacrifice a lot of their time and own money in order to build what they think will be profitable in the future. Segapo is like a lot of artists who had to face parents that were not willing to let their children pursue their passion and dreams. Having such parents as someone who is not passionate about other professions can be detrimental to one’s dreams as they will not be able to fully pursue them as they might not want to disappoint their parents.

However an entrepreneur will go after their dreams no matter what anyone tells them, they believe in an vision that they need to achieve and they will not stop until it is. This is the same thing that Segapo did, he went after his dreams despite his parents not approving of it, which shows how much he believed in himself and his dreams.
