OPPO South Africa Announces Its New Partnership With The International Cricket Council. OPPO, the world’s leading smart device manufacturers and innovators just announced that they have partnered with The International Cricket Council as its official mobile handset partner, the company took to Twitter to make this announcement.

Stay tuned because we have something special in store for fans of the beautiful game.” With this partnership OPPO is set to receive a lot of exposure throughout the world as cricket is also one of the biggest sports in the world and many people will know Oppo through its association with the sport’s governing body.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the world governing body of cricket. It was founded as the Imperial Cricket Conference in 1909 by representatives from Australia, England and South Africa. It was renamed as the International Cricket Conference in 1965, and took up its current name in 1987. The ICC has its headquarters in Dubai, UAE. The ICC has 105 member nations currently: 12 Full Members that play Test matches, and 94 Associate Members. The ICC is responsible for the organisation and governance of cricket’s major international tournaments, most notably the Cricket World Cup and the T20 World Cup. It also appoints the umpires and referees that officiate at all sanctioned Test matches, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals.
