Bathu SA Founder Theo Baloyi Wins Entrepreneur Of The Year Award At The Africa Choice Awards. South African entrepreneur and founder of Bathu SA, Theo Baloyi took to Twitter to announce that he has won the Entrepreneur Of The Year Ward at the Africa Choice Awards that were held in Nigeria. Baloyi was up against Olugbenga Agboola, Shola Akinlade, Kenedy Okonkwo, Veron Mankou and Andrew Takyi Appiah.

The post read, “Happy to announce that I was voted Entrepreneur of the Year at the Africa choice Awards hosted in Nigeria. I was the only South African nominated in this category amongst other great African entrepreneurs & we brought it home. Thank you to everyone who voted for me”

Baloyi has been able to create and build a formidable business that is not only recognised in South Africa but by the continent as well. By winning this award in a category that has a lot of great entrepreneurs shows how Baloyi’s leadership skills and his ability to build a business is being appreciated. The Bathu brand has been able to grow significantly over the past few years and it has been a prominent sneaker brand in the country.

Theo Baloyi is the founder of Bathu Shoes , a proudly South African sneaker business/brand. The company’s vision is to build a shoe brand that Africans can proudly affiliate with & accommodate everyone who is on a journey to greatness. It’s mission is to reignite hope in communities and create sustainable jobs in the economy.

With Baloyi winning this award, he should look into expanding his business to reach other African countries as this will make sure that his company is set up to grow into the global market. Baloyi is determined to change the mind-set of young people and to show them that achieving success is possible, therefore if he does this on a continental level he will symbolise the hope that the African youth needs.
