Brima Logistics Founder Tshepo Mekoa Details His Journey To Becoming CEO Of His Own Company. South African entrepreneur and founder of Brima Logistics, Tshepo Mekoa took to Twitter to share in detail his journey to becoming the CEO of his own logistics startup.
The post read, “I get this question a lot “How did you start?” I STARTED off as a logistics CLERK, became a logistics SUPERVISOR, then a logistics MANAGER and only after 12 YEARS I became CEO of my OWN logistics company. We all have to start somewhere. Don’t let go of the vision.”
Mekoa shared that he had to start somewhere on order to end up where he is, even though he started small he did not let that get in the way of his vision to build a formidable logistics company. Mekoa shared that he started off working as a clerk, and worked his way up in the corporate ladder to become a logistics manager. He made sure that he works hard and set out to acquire the knowledge and experience he needed in order to be able to build his own logistics business.
Mekoa also emphasised the time it took for him to reach the point he has reach in his career, this shows that people should not put pressure on themselves and put times frames on their goals, instead they should continue to work hard and be determined to achieve the goals no matter how long it takes. This shows that the entrepreneur believes and is passionate about their business.
