In an interview with Heavy Chef, founder and CEO of SweepSouth Dr. Aisha Pandor highlighted the importance of having a positive cash flow in business. She said, “Look whether it’s investment or not, uhmm having fuel in the tank is extremely important for a business, there is a weird psychology when you don’t have money in the bank and when it’s running out and you’re not a profitable business, it’s starts to play on you and limits your ability to think longer term, it limits your ability to make growth based decisions, you’re making risk and fear based decisions because you’re thinking about how long am I going to be around still, how do I make what little I have last as long as possible. So I think either way it’s not good for a business not to have funds available for your disposal.”
