Co-Founder And CEO Of Aerobotics, James Paterson Highlights The Value That His Start-Up Brings To The Farming Industry. South African entrepreneur and co-founder of Aerobotics, James Paterson highlighted the value that his startup has brought to the farming industry.
He sad, “The value we provide through to the grower is firstly identifying limiting factors on the farm, so which areas are underperforming, it could be irrigation problem, it could be a disease, it could be soil, quantifying that for then and then helping them create those and getting more production out of that block. Second area is crop protection, so actually monitoring pests and diseases throughout the season and when to take action and then third is the yield estimation side, where the drone are actually able to come down and fly very close to the trees and identify and measure fruit and predict what the size structure is going to be.”
