Founder Of Harvest Table Catherine Clark Explains Why She Started The Company. In an interview with KZN Top Business, founder of Harvest Table Catherine Clark explained why she stared her company. Many people venture into entrepreneurship for different reasons but they all seem to solve a problem in the market.
Clark said, “…I get this opportunity to now educate my children from an early age in terms of what I have learnt, to really give them a good foundation, so the Harvest Table is really that, to come and join us at this journey, come and eat at our table let us bring these really beautiful offering to you that are whole and nutritious. You know that if you buy from us, you know that that product comes from a good source, my own family uses that product. We believe in environmental packaging so everything is packaged in glass, we believe in employing people in this country so our products are hand packaged and hand labeled. We have a group of ladies in Pinetown in KZN, who are working full time to package the products beautifully with love and care and they are the breadwinners of their family.”
She continued to say, “Its become this beautiful expression of my story which maybe I didn’t necessarily intend but it’s given me the opportunity to retell my story, to relive my story, to remind myself why it’s so important and hopefully for people to grow with us as we go on this journey together.”
Clark wanted to create a company that people will be able to trust with their well being, she knows that there are a lot of people that seek to take care of their mental and physical health, therefore she solved a problem that not only she was experiencing but that was also prevalent in other people’s lives.
