SA DJ Hazel Mahazard Opens A DJ School At Newtown Junction Mall. South African DJ and entrepreneur Hazel Mahazard took to Twitter to announce that she has launched her own DJ School At Newtown Junction Mall in Johannesburg.
The post read, “I recently opened a DJ school, it’s located inside Newtown Junction Mall. Registration for 2022 is open, classes start in February, the registration fee is R1500 once off, our 8 week Mahazard course is R5000 payable in instalments. For more info please contact 0797746068.”
With Hazel venturing into this type of entrepreneurship, it shows that she is very passionate about the art of being a DJ and she wants to invest in creating more opportunities for people who aspire to enter the industry. She is making sure that she builds a platform that will instil hope and give inspiration to upcoming DJs.

Hazel started deejaying in 2017 after she enrolled in at Boston Media College for the DJ 101 course. Hazel was inspired by Lamiez Holworthy as a fellow female DJ that has been able to build her brand to be formidable in the music industry. Hazel seeks to grow her brand so that it can reach as many people as possible, this way her school will also be receiving exposure and more aspiring DJs can have a place where they can learn more about their craft.
