SA Singer Nomcebo Zikode Launches Her New Fragrance Brand Called Duchess. It has been reported that South African singer and songwriter Nomcebo Zikode has launched her new fragrance brand. The singer in now embarking on her entrepreneurial journey and is set to inspire a lot of her followers.
Zikode told Daily Sun that, “This is because when I started out in the industry, my only focus was music, and that is all that I knew and wanted to be – a singer. But years down the line I realised that I’ve been limiting myself and I can be whatever I want to be, being a musician shouldn’t be my only focus,”
Zikode explained to Daily Sun how she always had passion for entrepreneurship and right now feels like the right time for her to venture into business. The singer has made the right choice as she is following her passion, this decision can also prove to be very lucrative for Zikode as she will be diversifying her income streams.
Through building this business, Zikode would have a managed to create a legacy that will be appreciated by her fans and clients, this brand will symbolise how she was able to rise above the problems. “I used to steal my parents’ perfume while growing up. I love smelling good and this is because I believe having a good scent says a lot about you, explains who you are to people and makes a statement on your behalf and that is what we want to achieve with our fragrance,” Zikode told Daily Sun.
Zikode added how establishing the brand wasn’t an easy job, it got her to work on it for months before the launch so that everything that she needs for the brand can be in order. Zikode seeks to give people something that can be distinct and make a statement without the person having to worry about the quality of the product.
