Mitsubishi Motors Announces Partnership With The Khuli Chana Foundation To Assist School Kids From Disadvantaged Backgrounds. Mitsubishi Motors has announced its partnership with The Khuli Chana Foundation to assist school kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. The partnership seeks to make the back to school season a bit better by helping kids with basic school needs such as school uniform.

South African musician Khuli Chana, the founder of The Khuli Chana Foundation took to Instagram to also make the announcement. The post read, “The Khuli Chana Foundation & @mitsu_motors is going the #ExtraMile to put smiles on the children’s faces at Seaparankwe Primary School. On Friday we handing over 100 uniforms. Are you going the #ExtraMile with us ? Thank you @southafricadownsyndrome for donating sanitizers. Don’t forget to like and follow the Mitsubishi South Africa Facebook page for more information about the handover.”

Through this partnership the organisations aim to make sure that the lack uniform is not hindering the kid’s first days of getting back to school. Having proper uniform can give the kids the confidence they need to go to school as they will be looking presentable. This will also limit them from being bullied by other kids for not having proper as it is known that bullying can come in different forms. The children will not have to worry this and therefore they will give their full attention to their studies.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation is a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Khuli Chana is a South African rapper and entrepreneur. He rose to fame after releasing his major successful album ‘Motswakoriginator’, which infuses both the Setswana and English languages.

This initiative is very crucial especially at the beginning of the year, as most schools are reopening. Through this the two organisations are not earning any money but they are doing this as a way of contributing to the eradication of social issues that exists in disadvantaged communities.
