SA Barbershop Start-Up Legends Barbershop Announces Partnership With Uber Eats. It has been announced that South African barbershop startup Legends Barbershop has partnered with Uber Eats to supply grooming and hair products to their customer’s doorstep.

“We are looking forward to joining Uber Eats and are excited about the convenience that this will afford our customers,” Sheldon Tatchell founder of Legends Barbershop told Business Insider. “We are thrilled to engage with new customers who we were previously unable to reach.”

Legends Barbershop is the leading barbershop in South Africa as rated by the African Hair Awards Council. Legends Barbershop provides its clients with a professional grooming services throughout South Africa, Gaborone (Botswana) and soon touching down on international soil. The startup also offers the Exclusive Legendary Mobile Service that brings the Exclusive Legendary Experience directly to its client’s doorstep. “The digital marketplace is a convenient space where businesses and customers connect hassle-free. We are excited and proud of this partnership, especially because it demonstrates the growth of Uber Eats beyond connecting users to merchants selling food,” Nakampe Molewa, General Manager of Uber Eats Sub-Saharan Africa told Business Insider.

Molewa continued to say, “Other areas we have ventured into include convenience stores and pharmacy outlets as well as retail.
