Whoosh Founder Lebeko Mphelo Highlights How Consolidating Business Payments Will Make Online Transactions Easier. In an interview with Multichoice Group, South African entrepreneur and founder of Lebeko Mphelo shared how consolidating business payments will make online transactions easier.
He said, “The Pandemic has forced traditional businesses to think digital, where 7 out of 10 new businesses in South Africa need a payment solution. We help businesses small or large sell their products and services remotely. Whoosh has also studied the needs of customers, we all have monthly payments to make and they are scattered across multiple platforms, whoosh is Consolidating these on to one portal to make payments easier. We offer more than a payment solution, we provide a payment experience as our clients are our partners.”
The company shows that it knows the problem it is solving in the Tech space. It made sure to analyse how other tech companies are developing their products and it took it a step further by making it easier for its customers to use the portal. By consolidation of all these payments businesses will be able to keep track of their transactions in a much more organised manner as everything they will want to see will be on one platform.
Whoosh is South Africa’s first black owned and managed payment solutions company. It was established to participate within the convergence of technology and payment solutions in South Africa. Whoosh was founded in 2014 after Mphelo recognised the need for mobile card readers in South Africa. After many iterations of the business model it then pivoted to a payment gateway where it has gone to realise great success in offering a compelling solution to the South African payment industry.
With most companies converting to digital working methods, they will ultimately need to have an online payments solution that will keep track of all their transactions and make sure that their transition is seamless.
