Home Décor Start-Up ‘Labors Of Love’ Shares One Of The Biggest Lessons It Has Learnt. South African home décor startup ‘Labors Of Love’ took to Twitter to share one of the biggest lessons it has learnt, it emphasised that a business can not function with just one person but it needs a lot of people contributing different things so that it can grow.
The post read, “One of the biggest lessons we have learnt as a business is that you can’t go at it alone , in order to grow you need support whether it be from your employees, partners or from being a part of a like minded community @Yoco_ZA #Yocomeets” This startup understands that in order to grow and reach a wider audiences it needs to expand its staff personnel so that it can accommodate the rising demands the business is going to have when it grows.
The startup identified a problem that it could solve and therefore provided the solution to the people, when people see the value of the service or product that the startup is offering and they like it they will continuously support the business as it is bringing them something that is unique. This way the business will inevitably need other people to be involved as one person can not deal with all the operations that should take place from the business’ finances to creating the products and delivering the products.
By doing this the startup is also creating employment opportunities and more people will be hired and will work towards a goal that will also create opportunities for others in the future. The startup also highlighted that startups should also chose the right partners as this will determine if they have lucrative relations with other businesses, when a business is able to form solid business partnerships, it has more chances of executing its duties as it will be exposed to more resources it can use.
