SA Entrepreneur Lekau Sehoana Announces That The Drip Group Is Set To Launch A Kiddies Clothing Store. South African entrepreneur and Drip Footwear Founder Lekau Sehoana took to Twitter to announce that the parent company of the footwear brand is set to launch a kiddies clothing store called ‘Kiddies Republic’ at the Mall of the North, Chris Hani Crossing and Thavhani Mall in Thohoyandou.
The post read, “A few Months ago i said I wanted to create 1000 Jobs. So, @TheDripGroupCo is Launching a Kiddies Clothing Store very soon at Mall of the North, Chris Hani Crossing and Thavhani Mall in Thohoyandou. @MetjahTebogo will handle this and share a Link tomorrow. #JobsWillBeCreated” Since Sehoana established the Drip brand, one of his biggest goals was to create a lot of job opportunities for South Africans. With this new venture, he is going to fulfil his goal and therefore have a lot of positive impact on the communities the stores will be situated in.
Seahona announced that he is the ‘out going’ CEO of Drip Footwear as he is about to take over as the chairman of The Drip Group. The opening of a new store under The Drip Group shows that the company is aiming to create and build multiple brands under it. The company has other subsidiaries under it such as Drip Footwear and Root of Fame and now it is expanding to reach the kids market by opening a clothing store.
It is unclear whether the store will consist of new Drip clothing designs or they will partner with existing brands, but the vision that Sehoana has set for the company is very clear as he is aiming to build a conglomerate that will have a host of brands that are creating a big impact in the South African fashion industry.
