SA Start-Up Zeelo Explains How It Provides Alternative End To End Transportation Solutions. In an interview with Business Tech, Managing Director of Zeelo, James Champion shared how the startup provides the best alternative end-to-end transportation. It aims to be a safer alternative compared to its competitors in the industry.

Champion told Business Tech that, “Zeelo proudly works with businesses across all industries to provide their employees with a safer, more reliable, and convenient alternative to using public transport or driving their car for their daily commute. “Not only does this improve the safety, wellbeing, punctuality, and productivity of employees, but it also assists businesses in reducing pressures on parking and traffic congestion, not to mention reducing their carbon footprint. On average every Zeelo removes 30 vehicles off the road.”

Zeelo now transports thousands of riders to work, events and in private groups. The company has built teams in London, Barcelona and Durban that are all dedicated to provide a brilliant service for its riders. The company works closely with hundreds of high quality operating partners who share the same passion for providing quality transport solutions. In 2018, Zeelo operated 500,000 seats and delivered a 9.3/10 trustpilot rating across all journeys.

“We at Zeelo are passionate about giving people their time back. The average commuter that drives to work in their car wastes up to thirteen weeks a year behind the steering wheel, we want to make travelling with Zeelo a viable alternative to the car” said Champion in a statement on the company’s website.

The company has also partnered with Eastgate Shopping Centre and Sandton City Shopping Centres to launch an iconic commuting service between the two centres. Shoppers and commuters alike will be able to choose between four morning departure times from Eastgate Shopping Centre and four afternoon return times from Sandton, with a single return journey for R75 which includes free parking.
