How Moritelo Skincare Aims To Provide A Complete Skin Health Pathway. Moritelo Skin care is a black owned, led and managed by a Supply chain Graduate. Moritelo is Level 1 BBBEE contributor and a Proudly South African certified company.

The company’s products are well formulated and manufactured under good quality management systems that comply with SABS regulations. The products are made out of locally sourced ingredients, natural plant extracts and organic oils that are well researched by University of Pretoria. The company’s mission is to provide a complete skin health pathway to wellness through its products to prevent and restore customers’ confidence to its customers by resolving their skin condition.

Moritelo Skin Care started off in 2016, by researching and developing natural skin care range of products from the kitchen after realising a gap in the market for affordability yet an effective skin care products without chemicals being infused. The word Moritelo was derived from the direct translation of the Tswana language word which means. “Mixing”. For E.g. when the elderly women craft ginger beer, it is said in Setswana that ‘ba ya ritela’ (they are mixing) and the similarity is seen with the mixing process of Moritelo products because the same method is applied in mixing various ingredients to form one product.

Onneile Khwene, CEO & Founder of Moritelo has experienced what every young girl struggles with and that is acne. A condition that affects more than just the skin, but affects self-confidence and change the way one looks at themselves and conscious on how others see them. She felt inspired to create an organic skin care range to help myself and then saw the potential to help others.
