SA Trucking Company Massyn Vervoer Set To Cease Operations. South African trucking company Massyn Vervoer has announced that it is ceasing operations due to crime and the dire state of the South African economy. The company also mentioned that it is considering selling the trucking due to this.
Company director Frans Massyn said the closure was mainly due to the market conditions in the road freight industry and the vandalism and damages the company experiences. The Covid 19 pandemic also added to the problems that Massyn Vervoer is facing a as it negatively affected the economy of South Africa, thereby leaving a lot of South African companies in dire situations where they are forced to sell the business or close it down.
Massyn Vervoer is a long distance cargo hauling company which was established in 1985 under the trading name “S.A. Transit Services, Witbank. Since it’s inception, the company’s focus has been to provide quality, fast and safe long distance cargo delivery solutions. The company has achieved this by utilising state of the art vehicles and a high-tech 24 hour logistics centre.
