Salesforce Launches Its First Legal Entity In South Africa. It has been reported that that American cloud based software company has announced the launch of its first legal entity in South Africa.
The company has always been in the South African market through its customers and partners as it was creating more than 30 000 employment opportunities. The company also appointed Africans to lead this venture as it appointed Zuko Mdwaba as head of sales and Linda Saunders as head of solution engineering.
Salesforce is an American cloud-based software company headquartered in San Francisco, California. It provides customer relationship management software and applications focused on sales, customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development. “I am delighted to welcome Zuko Mdwaba and Linda Saunders to Salesforce to lead our growth in South Africa by working with our customers, partners and broader ecosystem,” Robin Fisher, senior area vice-president for emerging markets at Salesforce told IT Web.
“Africa has a great talent pool, and we intend to collaborate closely with our partners and local institutions on programmes that provide skills and job opportunities to meet the continent’s high demand for Salesforce skills, while also recognising Africa’s potential as a global talent hub.” Fisher continued. The company shows that it is determined to build a more formidable presence in the country so that its services can impact a lot of people. By doing this it is not only helping itself advance but it is also helping with the development of the country as it is providing a lot of investment and much needed employment opportunities.
Fisher acknowledges the incredible talent that can be found on the African continent and he seeks the company to further form partnerships with these talented individuals so that it can meet the demand for Salesforce skills that will open certain opportunities.
