SweepSouth Co-Founder Aisha Pandor Shares The Steps Start-Ups Can Take In Order To Overcome Challenges.
In an interview with SB Biz Banking, South African entrepreneur and co-founder of SweepSouth Aisha Pandor shared the steps that startups can take in order to overcome the challenges that they are facing.

She said, “Firstly your challenges aren’t always going to be where you think they will come from, the second learning is what to do when that happens, you know pull the team in and get everyone involved in problem solving and I think the last lesmring is the understanding how challenging periods can help to bring the company together. “

SweepSouth is an online platform for booking, paying for and managing homes cleaning services from a laptop, phone or tablet. Sweepsouth is the first company on the African continent to offer this service, and a 500 Startups Batch 14 alum. Aisha previously worked as a management consultant, gaining experience in the telecommunications and mining industries. Aisha has a PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Cape Town and an Associate in Management from the UCT Graduate School of Business.

This shows that Aisha has had a lot of experience when working with other people in order to provide solutions that will be useful. She along with her business partners have managed to build SweepSouth to be a lucrative business venture. This put her in the best position to give advice to young and up coming entrepreneurs that seek build a formidable startup.

The idea for SweepSouth came in December 2013 when husband and wife team Alen Ribic and Aisha R. Pandor struggled to find a part-time domestic cleaner over the holidays. The aim was to make getting a home cleaned, at short notice, a hassle-free experience. SweepSouth currently operates in most areas of Cape Town, Johannesburg, Centurion and Pretoria as well as Nairobik, Kenya.
