SA Actress Ama Qamata Announces Her Partnership With Adidas. South African actress Ama Qamata took to Instagram to announce that she is the new ambassador for Adidas for the ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ campaign.
The post read, “I’m thrilled to officially be a part of the Adidas family!!! My first campaign as an ambassador is the “I’m Possible” campaign and it speaks to my core beliefs that we as women are a force to be reckoned with. We can do anything and everything and impact this world in a big way!”
Ama Qamata is an actress that made her television acting debut in 2016 at the age of 17, and went on to land a main role in the popular South African drama series, Gomora in 2020. In the same year, Ama was cast in a lead role in the Netflix crime drama Blood & Water, which hit the number one spot on Netflix in regions such as South America and Australia, with Ama receiving her first international acting nomination at the Series Brasil Awards in the category Actress Revelation of the Year.
‘Impossible is Nothing’ is an attitude that Ama knows well. “In this industry, you have to believe in yourself and your ability first and foremost. I’ve only ever wanted to act so it had to work out. There was no Plan B!” said Qamata in an interview with Adidas. Qamata highlights how this partnership is perfect for her as it highlights her beliefs which are very important as she wants to work with Adidas to inspire a lot of people to also uphold their beliefs and the belief in themselves.
Through this campaign, Qamata wants to show that people can a lot of things when they set their minds to it and work towards achieving these things even though their journey might make it seem impossible.
