Fundudzi Media Dismisses Rumours Of Kaya FM Acquisition

Fundudzi Media Dismisses Rumours Of Kaya FM Acquisition. South African media company Fundudzi Media released a statement dismissing the rumours that it has acquired Kaya FM. This comes after there were social media reports stating that the company had acquired Kaya FM.

The company said in a statement, “Although we have a company policy of not commenting on such wild speculation, we feel a response to these reports is warranted in this instance. We – as Fundudzi Media – put it as a matter of fact that these rumours, purported to be facts, are unsubstantiated and devoid of truth. These reports, which apparently emanated from the social media yesterday, have created a wrong impression that a deal over the sale of Kaya 959 has been struck between Fundudzi Media and Thebe Investments. We want to put it on record that these reports are misleading as no such a deal exists.”

Fundudzi Media is a media company that publishes Sunday World newspaper and it is owned by David Mabilu who is an entrepreneur and also the founder of Vharanani Properties. The company would like to urge people behind these rumours to desist from spreading information which is totally not based on any amount of credible information, and which is also sadly bereft of any reliable or credible sourcing.

The company also stated that it was not approached by any of the people or organizations that reported the false information and it believes if it was approached it would have cleared up the confusion without it getting to the public and being presented as a fact, as this has led the public to believe and circulate false information.
