Nautilus has an extensive digital and regular technical library, containing up-to-date international standards (American; British; German; European; Australian; South African; as well as various company standards) and technical literature by leading authorities.
Nautilus Engineers comprises a team of one director, one administrator and technical staff organized into a drawing office and a design team. Other technical requirements are subcontracted out on a project-by-project basis and the use of other small consultants and specialists are made when needed. The company’s owner and director, Graham Peter Bartholomew (Bart) has more than 25 years of post-graduate experience as a mechanical engineer within the pulp & paper, petrochemical, chemical, sugar, consulting, construction and fabrication industries. His line of expertise is plant/equipment design, project and construction management.
Bart has worked for a multitude of multinational engineering companies which includes consultants and technology suppliers. He is a past chairman of SAIMechE (KZN), and currently a national council member, and has a broad network of engineering expertise. Bart is a registered Professional Engineer with ECSA and is recognized by SANAS as an accredited Design Engineer.
