Nedbank and Hohm Energy have partnered to offer an industry-leading client solution, giving its clients an indicative proposal in minutes for a range of suitable solar options that meet their needs. Going solar is complicated, riddled with compliance and many moving parts. Hohm is an online software platform and marketplace that connects customers, accredited solar providers, product suppliers and financiers in a few clicks. Hohm Energy is on a mission to accelerate the adoption of solar rooftop to move us towards a lower-carbon future, faster.
Hohm Energy took its industry know-how and paired it with software development expertise to generate bespoke client solar proposals and automate workflows to speed up the solar sales and deployment journey. The company realized its mission was greater than helping its own solar business scale, in favor of helping the solar industry. This lead to it rebuilding the source code in 2020 and spinning out of Hohm in 2021 as stand alone climate-tech startup. The company is now in pursuit of building a global solar network to accelerate the renewable energy transition.
