South African entrepreneur and Chairman of the Drip Group, Lekau Sehoana took to Twitter to share that he has invested R1.8 Billion in his Kiddies Republic business venture, through this the company aims to build 300 stores in the next 3-4 years as well as create over 6000 jobs.

Lekau Sehoana had announced earlier this year that he will be forming The Drip Group which will consists of several brands under its umbrella, one of these brands is the Kiddies Republic clothing store. Sehoana sought to diversify his company’s portfolio by creating and building new brands that will have as big as an impact as Drip Footwear did or even bigger. Kiddies Republic has now reached a phase where it is opening its first store and through the investment that Sehoana made in the business, the company can be able to launch itself and grow at a pace where it meets or even exceed the goals that it had set for Itself.
The Drip Group consists of Drip Footwear, Kiddies Republic as well as Root Of Fame. Sehoana is aiming to build separate standing companies that function independently but are under one umbrella company, this way he can have control over which direction the businesses take and this will lead to him fulfilling his dream the of not just building one brand but building multiple successful brands which share the common vision of igniting hope and inspiration in the townships under one conglomerate.
