Great Africa Hair Company Announced As The Strategic Partner To The Temba Bavuma Foundation. Great Africa Hair Company is proud to be the newest strategic partner to the Temba Bavuma Foundation . Together the organisations are committed to being a part of the solution and creating a sustainable impact on young girls’ lives whose families may be facing economic and social challenges.

The Foundation was started by Temba Bavuma (South African national player) in 2016, with a view to make a meaningful difference in the lives of scholars from previously disadvantaged backgrounds through education and the sport of cricket. The Foundation seeks to continue on its mission of making a a meaningful difference by rewriting the South African narrative through the provision of access to quality education through scholarships. In addition, it will continue to play its part in the development of cricket in South Africa, and ensure equal access to playing opportunity for scholars from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Great Africa Hair Company was established to introduce the best-of-breed expertise from the World, known and respected as the leader in ethnic hair care innovation, and further develop it in Southern Africa, all whilst importing some of those major brand’s products and making them available locally. Also Guide Smaller brands with potential in their Retail journey at every step from listings to Merchandising to in stores activations. Since its inception in 2020, the Great Africa Hair Company, under the guidance of founder and Managing Director, Salil Dhingra, continues to blaze a trail that’s internationally informed yet rooted on the continent with hair care product lines that respond to the wants and needs of its African clientele

This past Friday The Great Africa Hair Company took part in the foundation’s annual dignity drive at Realogile High School in Alexandra (JHB), providing around 240 girls with care packages containing sanitary, hygiene and hair care essentials. The morning included fun activities about facing fears and discussions around making sure the girls are well equipped to take care of themselves, making sure that they don’t miss out on school because of their periods and focusing on education to give themselves the best possible chance to exceed in life.
