The company was founded by Hema Vallabh & Janade Du Plessis. Hema is an engineer, turned entrepreneur, turned investor who has worked under the gender parity umbrella for the past decade and a half. Janade is an experienced investment banker, impact investor and has lived and worked extensively across the African continent. Through the range of programmes offered through their ecosystem, Hema & Janade have accelerated over 175+ companies supporting 250+ female entrepreneurs, and have made over 70+ investments across the continent.
