MTN Business Announces Its Partnership With Huawei And Minetec. MTN Business, Huawei Technologies South Africa, MINIANDANTE Mining company and Minetec Smart Mining signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to offer 5G technologies equipment and connectivity to Miniandante Mining company mines.
“We partnered with Huawei and Minetec to bring the first mining operations enablement through our 5G network capability. This 5G use case is the first of its kind at Canyoncoal mine and we will be accelerating to more mines in the country and the rest of the continent.” Wanda Matandela, Chief Enterprise Officer at MTN said in a statement.
