Famous Brands Coffee Company Appointed Exclusive Distributor Of Microfilter Water Filters in South Africa. Microfilter, the award winning South Korean water filter manufacturer and global supplier to industrial giants that include Samsung, Bosch, Hisense, LG, Panasonic, Daewoo and Hyundai, has awarded exclusive distribution of its products in South Africa to Famous Brands Coffee Company.
Microfilter was launched in 1996 and with 114 patents and 57 registered designs, has attained performance and quality certifications from bodies such as NSF in the USA, WRAS and UKAS in the UK, WaterMark in Australia and CE across Europe. Microfilter exports its range to more than 40 countries across the globe. Its most recent achievement was to have its Fluux range NSF/ANSI 401 certified under the American National Standards Institute, for the removal of microplastics as small as 0.1 microns from water supplies. Microplastics are minute particles of plastic that are found nearly everywhere but as they are increasingly being viewed as harmful to health, filtration systems that can remove them, offer significant benefits to water drinkers.
