Tech StartUp Sendmarc Closes $7M In Series A Funding. South African tech startup Sendmarc has announced that it has managed to secure $7 million in Series A funding that was led by Atlantica Ventures, which is an African impact focused Venture Capital fund investing in tech and tech enabled startups.

The company said in a LinkedIn post, “Exciting news from Sendmarc! Our dedication to making the internet a safer place has been recognized with a $7 million Series A funding round. With this investment, we are geared up to expand our market presence and further strengthen our position as leaders in email and domain security.”

Sendmarc is a South African StartUp that automates the process of protecting one’s domain from being used in email impersonation and phishing attacks. The company enables organisations to quickly configure DMARC, SPF, and DKIM to authorise legitimate senders. The company’s tools allows people to easily understand who is sending email from their domain, where the threats lie, and the steps needed to authorise senders.
