How GlamFoodie Became A Fine Dining Platform That Caters To A Niche Clientele. GlamFoodie was conceptualised by a sassy, 30-something foodie enthusiast, who understands the importance of providing a particular service to a niche clientele won are particular about their cuisine. Charmaine Ramalope, thus decided to host a bi-quarterly event entitle, “Wine & Dine” at the most affluent venues, in the hopes to attract aspiring fine dining enthusiasts with a taste for the finer things. This proved to be a success as she has collaborated with some of SA’s (and the world’s) most respected chefs, hospitality partners and esteemed winemakers. Not to mention partnering with the leading food and beverage brands, hotels and restaurants.

GlamFoodie Wine&Dine is a monthly fine dining platform that brings haute cuisine, luxury wine & spirit brands to a captive audience and potential new clients. The company collaborates with talented chefs and exciting brands to create an exclusive and delightful culinary experience by working closely with its partners to showcase their products, ensuring it delivers an exceptional food and wine pairing event.

GlamFoodie Wine&Dine is a brainchild of Charmaine Ramalope – a food and wine writer and social media content creator, campaign planner and foodie influencer. Her flair for all things gourmet has gained her a fair share of limelight within the foodie circles – from hosting interactive cooking classes, wine tastings and fine dining dinners – all of which have attracted some of Joburg’s elite socialites.

To-date, she’s hosted seven upscale fine dining events around Joburg, in partnership with Tsogo Sun Monte Casino. In planning her highly anticipated GlamFoodie Wine & Dine events, she has had the honour of collaborating with eight locally and internationally renowned chefs, wine brands (and winemakers): notably Glen Carlour, Avondale and Morgenster to name a few.

Charmaine is part of a select media team tasked with raising awareness for Tsogo Sun events and restaurant opening efforts and has made media guest-list for food and wine related events in Gauteng. Her campaign planning abilities have seen her collaborate with top brands such as Magnum, Nescafè Dolce Gusto and Hellmanns Mayonnaise.
