Inga Atelier Rebrands To Inga Africa
Inga Atelier Rebrands To Inga Africa. South African entrepreneur and founder of Inga Atelier, Inga Gubeka took to Twitter to announce that his luxury goods brand has rebranded into Inga Africa as it aims to move away from its French influenced name to a more African name.
The post read, “We have rebranded. Inga Stands for my name. Atelier is a French name which means workshop/studio. Atelier is a common name in Europe. We wanted to move away from the French name and make it African. This will help represent the African continent and Johannesburg to the world.”
Inga Africa married the rich experience of South-African master artisans to the highest quality Italian materials. Every handmade stitch and fold is thoughtfully brought together in its clients’ unique made-to-order bag. Inga Gubeka continued to say, “Brand identity is one of the most important part when starting a brand, invest in it, you can’t get it wrong.”
Inga’s Atelier is quickly becoming renowned as the brand from Africa to look out for. The company has proudly gifted the President of South Africa with one of its customized bags, and can count Oscar winning actors among its client base. Beyoncé featured the company on her website, and it also premiered at SA Fashion Week 2019.
Inga aspires to show the world what Africa is capable of. He aims to provide contemporary African luxury items that will be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the traditional luxury brands. He also seeks to prove old assumptions wrong, and carve out a new path for the old world.
