Voys Expands With Acquisition Of Call-In-One

Voys Expands With Acquisition Of Call-In-One. Leading European and South African business telephony provider Voys has strengthened its operational capacity with the takeover of Dutch telecoms company Call-In-One. This latest integration will see Voys significantly expand its cloud telephony services for SMEs as these expand or add call centre functions. The large enterprise segment is already growing strongly at Voys, with the acquisition of Call-In-One set to reinforce the company’s core competence in this crucial area.

Founded in 2011, Call-In-One specialised in PBX solutions for bigger multi-site or single-site businesses by providing all the benefits of a large PBX system without the need for upfront investment housing and maintaining hardware on-site. Call-In-One was an early innovator in the use of IP connectivity such as broadband to provide powerful features to reduce total costs, improve productivity and enhance the image of businesses. Voys and Call-In-One have been working closely together for close to a decade, so the official integration is a logical evolution. Through the acquisition, Voys expands its portfolio and bolsters its ability to offer a communication solution to suit every organisation.

The strategic partnership between Voys and Call-In-One started in 2015. “With Freedom, Voys had a wonderful cloud telephony solution for small and medium-sized companies,” says Mark Vletter, founder of Voys. “We wanted to accommodate customers who were growing or who were looking for call centre functionality. We were able to do that through the collaboration with Call-In-One.”

Ben Hoetmer, founder of Call-In-One, started the company in 2011. He says: “Organisations that have been customers of Call-In-One from the start still are, which indicates high levels of customer trust and happiness.” The large business market is now a strongly growing portfolio within Voys, especially in the industries of retail, insurance, medical supplies and big municipalities. “Over the years we have welcomed amazing customers such as the Municipality of Groningen, Medux and Bidfood in the Netherlands and Rhino Africa, Pargo and PayCentral in South Africa,” says Vletter.

The acquisition of Call-In-One is not the only one Voys has accomplished in recent years. “In 2020, we took over Eigennummer.nl and Voys South Africa is now a full part of the organisation,” explains Vletter. In addition, the telecoms provider announced earlier this year that they will continue under the name Voys together with software company Devhouse Spindle. “Voys has become a single, united organisation that can offer every type and size of company a suitable cloud telephony solution. These acquisitions and mergers ensure that we can bring an ever-improving product to an ever-increasing group of customers in every country in which we operate.”

Voys is deeply committed to the positive impact the company has on society. Says Vletter: “We are a purpose-driven organisation. Our goal is to close the global digital divide in order to give more people across the planet equitable access to connectivity. This we do this with our foundation 48percent.org. As one large organisation, we can now work even more intensively towards this goal.”
