Vumatel Announces Sponsorship Of The Standard Bank HeronBridge Invitational. South African telecommunications company Vumatel took to LinkedIn to announce that it has joined several sponsors in sponsoring the Standard Bank HeronBridge Invitational which aims to give recognition to the talents of netball, hockey and rugby players.
The post read, “We are pleased to announce that we will once again be joining the list of sponsors for the Standard Bank HeronBridge Invitational – joining as the Development Day sponsor. The Invitational which was born out of a passion for sports and sports development aims to showcase and celebrate the talents of netball, hockey, and rugby players across South Africa and will take place from the 16th to the 20th of March 2023. After an incredible event in 2022, we are excited to see the 1500 players from over 40 schools compete across the 3 different sports.”

The 2023 Standard Bank HeronBridge Invitational will see 1500 players from over 40 schools participate in a one-of-a-kind rugby, netball and hockey sports showcase on 16 – 19 March 2023. Born from a passion for sports and sports development, the Standard Bank HeronBridge Invitational seeks to showcase and celebrate the talents of sportsmen and sportswomen from across South Africa, in a winter sports festival. First team hockey matches take place from 16 March, alongside its Development Day that will see a number of coaching clinics run by the SA Rugby Legends, national hockey players and South African netball players to under-resourced preparatory schools.
